NACA Summer Showcase June 28-July 3, 2010, Iqaluit, NU.
The Nunavut Arts & Crafts Association (NACA) is collaborating with the Alianait Festival this year to host the NACA Summer Showcase for emerging artists from across Nunavut. This event is planned for June 28th to July 3rd in Iqaluit. EDO's from each community will be speaking to their artists directly to choose a participant from each hamlet to attend the festival. Applications for the emerging artists and additional information will be available at your Hamlet.
NACA will be featuring 26 visual artists, one from each Nunavut community, to participate in this event. This gathering will give them the opportunity to network with each other, expand their business skills and knowledge, learn more about marketing, meet galleries, and exhibit and sell their artwork
We believe this event as an opportunity to foster strong connections with emerging artists and their supporters and mentors in the Nunavut art sector.
